The NTSC Advisory Council serves as a forum for technology executives and vendor companies to discuss policy issues that impact their ability to conduct business and help guide board involvement with advocacy initiatives.
The NTSC Advisory Council plays a key role in our organization's quest to drive the national dialogue in respect to promoting the development of technology security solutions and policies. The Advisory Council will be the ombudsman, helping to connect the NTSC Board of Directors to relevant service providers, sponsors, policy experts, educators, practitioners, security authorities, and other stakeholders. Through their expertise and guidance, this body will support the advancement of the NTSC and assure that our organization is moving toward the achievement of its mission.
The NTSC Advisory Council will consist of security industry leaders and experts who collectively support our organization's attainment of its strategic objectives. Collectively, the NTSC Advisory Council will embody a cross section of C-level service providers, policy experts, educators, practitioners, sponsors, security experts, and other stakeholders. When fully operational, the makeup of this body will be diverse in respect to geography, industry, human capital, and expertise.
Terms of service will be up to three years and can be renewable based on each member's contribution and mutual agreement. The Advisory Council will meet quarterly and include at least one in-person annual meeting.
